My NYC Shopping Guide

There’s nothing quite like a warm summer day spent roaming around the streets of Manhattan. The sights, the sounds, the smells. I try to make the trip to NYC about once a year, but this year was very different for us, considering we now had a one year old in tow! This meant we avoided subways (aka crowds, germs, stairs, stress) and explored the city by foot, which was surprisingly enjoyable! We stumbled upon shops & neighborhoods that we otherwise wouldn’t have found ourselves in, and I tried to make a note of which ones really caught my fancy! This isn’t an extensive guide, but it’s enough to get you started on a really great path around the city. For reference, we stayed in the Flatiron District at the Ace Hotel (a personal favorite) and started most of our days by walking south on Broadway or 5th. Let’s jump right into it!

Artists & Fleas: 568 Broadway

Large space for local vendors selling jewelry, vintage clothes, art, gifts, etc.

Louis Vuitton: 116 Greene St

Their SoHo location is my favorite!

Balenciaga: 148 Mercer St

They have separate men & women’s shops across the street from each other!

Outdoor Voices: 251 Centre St

High quality athleisure with modern color pallets. I’m obsessed with their skort and the exercise dress.

Mango: 561 Broadway

We don’t have these in MN so stopping here is an absolute must for me!

Buck Mason: 235 Elizabeth St

Awesome selection of men’s basics.

Lunya: 255 Elizabeth St

They sell magical pajamas made of washable silk.

Sézane: 254 Elizabeth St

Gorgeous selection of french purses, clothing and jewelry.

Aesop: 232 Elizabeth St

For all the good smells & good creams.

Samuji: 12 Prince St

Learned about this home decor store in a Kinfolk issue. Stunning.

Everlane: 28 Prince St

A must for me considering I’m a regular customer on their online store and I thought it was THRILLING to touch their inventory in person lol.

Alexander Wang: 103 Grand St

Dang that guy is cool.

Anthom: 25 Mercer St

Clothes, bags & jewelry nestled on a block where we saw *a lot* of photoshoots happening

(because it is v cute here).

Where I picture the quintessential NYC cool girl shopping.

Get it line. It’s worth the wait.
